What ages do you serve at Poppy Brooke Montessori Care?

12 months and up.

 

What are your hours of operation?

6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

 

Do you offer full-time and part-time enrollment?

At this time, we offer full-time enrollment only.

 

Is Poppy Brooke licensed and insured?

Yes, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 142B and Minnesota Rule 9502 (also known as Rule 2). Yes, we hold general liability insurance coverage.

 

Curriculum & Daily Life

 

Do children spend time outdoors each day?

Yes, children spend 60 minutes or more outside each day during the appropriate seasons.

When the weather does not allow for outdoor play, supplementary indoor activities are done.

 

How do you handle nap time and rest?

Each child will have their own cozy space consisting of a padded cot, a soft toddler pillow, and warm blankets. Families are welcome to send a small stuffed animal and/or a special blanket from home to help provide extra comfort and familiarity during rest time. For our older children who no longer nap, this period will be a calm and peaceful part of their day. They will have the opportunity to enjoy quiet activities such as coloring, puzzles, fidget/sensory toys, and reading, while a gentle movie plays in the background.

 

Meals & Health

 

Do you provide meals and snacks?

Nutritious meals and snacks are provided daily to support your child’s health and development. All meals follow the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) guidelines and include items from each basic food group. Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. Morning Snack: 10:00 a.m. Lunch: 12:00 p.m. Afternoon Snack: Served after quiet time.

 

How do you handle food allergies and dietary needs?

A food allergy form is filled out upon enrollment. Once that form is filled out and submitted, we will work to make necessary accommodations for your child and within the daycare.

 

What is your sick child policy?

Our policy regarding a child who is absent: The weekly fee remains the same.

 

Enrollment & Payments

 

How do I enroll my child?

First, you will need to contact us to determine if an opening is available. If not, we can add your child to the waitlist. If an opening is available, you will then be guided through the next steps and provided the necessary registration materials.

 

Is there a registration or enrollment fee?

Yes, a one-time $25 fee is to be paid upon enrollment.

 

How does tuition and billing work?

Payments can be made through the Lillio app.

 

Can I set up automatic payments?

Yes, parents and guardians can set up auto-payments through the Lillio app to avoid late fees.
